Knit: The Covered Bridge Poncho Kit: The Recycled Silk Ribbon Poncho For All

Inspiration: I feel pretty blessed to be able to live in Maine year-round. We joke about getting 2 weeks of summer up in these parts. For me though, I love the chilly weather (more time to sit inside and create..and drink wine:) ) When I felt a nip of the fall air the 3rd week into August I took my needles out and crafted an easy poncho from recycled silk ribbon. You can easily create this in a night or two and best yet, it’s so easy that you can enjoy a glass or 2 or 3 of wine and your project will still shine. Talk about multi-tasking!

So, here's the deal! If you're a knitter and you want to get the kit (which includes the yarn at a discounted rate and the printed pattern and a large eyed finishing needle perfect for the ribbon) now's your chance to get first dibs on the pattern. Now, I don't want you worrying one bit. If you are beginner, you can so do this! You need to know how to knit plus cast on and bind off. You'll need size 17 needles too.

The regular size kit fits a woman's S-L and you'll get 6 hanks of ribbon. For the plus size (which fits an XL-XXL) you will get 9 skeins of ribbon.
