If you’ve been following Darn Good Yarn on Facebook, you probably saw this amazing shawl a few days ago-
Darn Good Yarner and Mistress of Fantastic Knitted Lace Denae Merrill sent us the pattern for her gorgeous shawl, knitted using banana fiber yarn. Now you can make one too! We put together a few of our most popular Banana Fiber yarn color combinations for you! To pick the color combination, use the drop down menu :)
I often get the question about the softness of this yarn. It totally totally soft. People write me weekly saying how shocked they are by how soft it really is!
Each 100g skein yields 65 yards of hand spun yarn. The gauge on our yummy banana fiber yarns is 3-3.5 stitches to the inch on size US 8 (5.0mm) needles, or you could use a size US 8-H (5.0mm) crochet hook!
You can find the pattern here: http://www.darngoodyarn.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/That-Sunset-was-Bananas.pdf and start knitting right away!
