Gone Hunting - Silk Bubbles Reclaimed Silk Yarn

I am in love! Lately, I've been playing around with plies and textures with the reclaimed silk yarn I get from co-ops in India. I love when you combine a light worsted weight silk and a super skinny weight silk... you get Silk Bubbles! Zoom in and check the great texture. Perfect for that slouchy sweater you've been dreaming of or that fun hat or better yet, that fabulous poncho! This silk has the softness of our Silk Cloud line of yarns but it's just thicker. You'll want to use around a size 7 needles

Knitting needles in size US 5 (3.75mm) will give you 4.5 stitches per inch. If you rather crochet, I would suggest a size US G-6 (4mm) or a US H-8 (5mm) hook, depending on how tight you want your stitches.
Dry clean, or hand wash or delicate cold cycle.

This is 100 grams of double ply 100% reclaimed with 180 yards!

And remember, this yarn (just like all of our yarns) is made by individuals in India who rely on Darn Good Yarn and hand-creating and dying this yarn to survive! It's an amazing cause and it's yarn you can feel great about!
